I've been riding for some years now and have a couple of sportive type bikes. However, I want to up my pace a little and so I'm looking for a good racer for around the £3500 mark. I've been seriously tempted by the Focus Izalco Team sl 2.0 as it's a close to the set-up that i want. Although weight isn't everything, does anyone out there have an idea about this bikes weight and there thoughts on this bike generally.

I've built up a 2013 izalco team sl. It's fitted with campag super record eps, ffwd wheels and 3t seat post, bars and stem as I bought everything separately after getting the frame from someone selling cheap, so can't comment fully on the off the shelf spec but I have to say I love mine. It's got a slightly more aggressive position to my other bike but as I've got fitter this is no bother and did 120 miles round the Cotswolds last week with no issues. It's a light frame my total weight is around the 7kg mark but find it climbs well being stiff with excellent power transfer that it sails up the hills better than the cyclist on it.
