Comes standard with Avid Disc brakes. First road bike in 12 years. I've just managed to get up to 16/17 mile commute each way. Loving it!

    White tape, maintenance disaster.

    Once that stuff gets too grubby I recommend throwing some black on, it will match the saddle and not be destroyed if you need to change a tyre.

    I always accept that set up is personal, and I'm not one of the "slam it" gang, but that saddle looks low to me. If your leg are quite bent at the bottom of the stroke then you'll be making it harder on yourself.

    My leg is very slightly bent when the pedals furthest away from the saddle...I must be a funny shape :lol:
