Surprised no-ones kicked this off for a general chit chat about the race so far and what's coming up

Ok, here's a bit of light-hearted relief. Captions please...

Interesting poll in Equipe today has the vote split three-ish ways between Bardet (28%), Peraud (26%) and Pinot (35%) over who will podium. 10000 votes so at least a decent sample of opinion of the home nation

There's a sensational pic of Nibali casually crucifying JC on his wheel at Inner Ring.

It's now turned into a B-movie that's blown it's special effects budget and lost 75% of the cast to rehab. Cult classic status now hinges on a truly dastardly Valverde move to deny a french podium.

This is turning out to be the tour from hell for Sky so just wondering if they'll manage to salvage a single stage win at this years tour?

Hard to see where it's going to come from, Nieve in the Pyrenees perhaps but he didn't look that good on Saturday's stage

He hee. I imagine pulling up to the club run in that (or Llandegla with 2 Orange 5's on the back) would make you a lot of friends

So why is Nibali wearing a white helmet?

Italian champs colours? (I can see a bit of green in the photo, no red though)

    Subliminal "good-guy" message?

    Overly rigourous sock-saddle-tape-glasses matching?

It reminds me of a HTRWW description of Froome (in Romandie I think): "Fine, I'll ride with you, but I won't look like I'm trying hard while I do it."

Were they given the option of 'none of them'?

Well it doesnt add up to 100% so I would assume so.

Peraud has the best track record in TTs and given there isnt much between them otherwise this could prove decisive.

It's not particularly on topic, but if you took the Sky graphics off that car would be absolutely MINT.

SDB is actually 'far away'. Richie is 'small'.
