Hey Guys
Always a browser, but this is my first post.
I am selling my 2013 Giant Anthem, and my 2008 Giant Glory DH bike. Getting an "enduro" bike.
I'm 6 foot 3, Ride mainly local trails (7 Stanes), but like to push on the fast / down sections, and do the occasional downhill. (2-3 times a year, nothing extreme)
I've narrowed it down to these 2 bikes, What do you think I'm best to go with in your opinion?

Evo, hands down. Love those bikes! I actually had a 2013 one on pre-order but Spesh kept delaying them.Current:

Second that
Better frame and a proven design, while Spesh may be expensive their frames are well designed and tend to last
Although the one in the picture, the forks are quite poor0 -
Personally, out of only those two in terms of riding, I'd go with the Spicy. I'd think you'd be over-biked 95% of the time with the Enduro Evo. Then again, I wouldn't actually touch a 2nd-hand (guessing from the age of the two) Lapierre with a barge-pole. They do a good job of reinforcing the famous French lack of service and that goes tripple for when it's 2nd-hand. So the Spesh then. Or something different.0

Spesh for me too. Spent a week over here with a 2011 Comp and absolutely loved it. Climbing, singletrack, downhill - seemed more than capable on all of that. Def gets my vote"Why have that extra tooth if you're not using it?" - Brian Lopes

Specialized for me. Great bike, rides great and absolutely bomb proof. I think I would probably go for the standard Enduro over the evo for what you ride, the standard one has an air shock with propedal so it climbs and pedals better.
The Lappierre rides well enough but the frames can be a bit fragile, I wouldn't touch a second hand one.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350 -
Yes, I agree, that SPZ is deff overspecced for what I need.
The other one I had an eye on is a 2013 Foxy XR, £1300 he wants. It might suit my 6 foot 3 body better, But not many reviews of them.

Still the Enduro
If we all bought things we need I doubt most of us would have the bike we doCurrent:
