Really want to try and fit a pair of http://www.wiggle.co.uk/sks-chromoplast ... guard-set/ to GT MTB , I guess I should be able to use P clips for the stays but the big problem I think is going to be the front guard bracket as I have a carbon fork http://www.carboncycles.cc/?s=0&t=2&c=43&p=195&tb=001 so a lot of distance from the top of the wheel to the underside of the fork, which is hollow, so I'm thinking I may be able to do something with that to fasten the guard bracket to it but no idea what...so anyone do similar or come up with any ideas...yep I have even considered buying a new commuter with mudguard fittings but would like to try the cheaper option first.

A rubber/plastic compression plug using a vertical bolt through the front guard.
