I friend of mine as been offered a straight swap for his 2013 Remedy 8 which is pretty much stock bar a 1x10 conversion for this...

The Rook is a Slopestyle bike so is designed for use on dirt jumps, pump tracks, slopestyle parks etc. I can't imagine it would be too good for trail riding like the Remedy is designed for as the geometry would off and the seatube is only 14" in both sizes (regular and long). If you friend wants that kind of bike then it could be worth the swap, but I would definitely say no if he wants a bike for trail riding.

Good slopestyle bike but it would be rubbish for trail/xc riding.
