Another tyre advice thread

I know this has been covered before but i'm still finding it difficult to choose a new tyre.
I use my bike to commute to work 5-6 days a week which is about a 2 1/2 mile round trip. I go out on 10-20 mile rides round the Pennines every fortnight or so (more often when possible)
So,
option 1. I need a good all round tyre for tarmac and off round
or
option 2. I buy a tyre well suited to riding off road (mostly compact dirt and loose rock, Pennine trails) and change between my current tyre for commuting and the new tyre for off roading.
Btw I have 26'' wheels. My budget is £60 for a pair (less if possible)
Any advice would be much appreciated , thanks.

If it's only 2 miles commuting a day just use one pair of tyres and ones intended for off road.

Mostly bridle ways in the Pennines, compact dirt, loose rock. Sometimes woodland.0
