Beginner's Downhill

Hey All,
Just decided I'd like to explore downhill a bit more than I have been, and I'm looking for a bike. May go the second hand route, but any suggestions as to a good, relatively inexpensive DH full sus? I'm looking for something that I'll be able to gradually build on until I decide to fully replace the frame with something better if I decide I wanna continue riding DH.
Thanks

There are a fee solid options for downhill bikes on a budget. Santa Cruz bullit would be my top choice. Specialized Big Hits (2010 onwards) are ok as well.
I would avoid Kona Stinky/Stab and Norco Atomik. Dodgy handling and very heavy.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350 -
I have a 2010 big hit that I may be selling soon.
but as a budget DH bike it's been superb for me. bomb proof and has taken everything I've thrown at it.
it's basic with hardly any adjustability, but in some ways that's good as the forks and shock are pretty much fit and forget. it does weigh a ton but it's never bothered me really.0
