I currently own a giant talon 27.5 (5) and am looking too upgrade my fork. The one in which I currently am looking at is the rockshox tk 30 solo air gold. Will it be compatible with my current steerer on my bike. On the tk's It is 1-1/8" aluminium, 1.5 to 1-1/8" tapered aluminium. Thanks so much in advance guys

Depends on the 30 gold you are looking at and what you need. Some are tapered, some are not.
