I'm new to having a go at sorting my own gears so bear with me.

When I'm in opposite ends of cassettes ie big on the front big on the rear and vice versa. It sounds like it's attempting to change, what's best to adjust to stop this? Front or rear derailleur, high or low or both?

Comments

  • Avoid riding big/big, small/small it prematurely wears your chain.

If you really want to sort it then probably loosening the relevant limit screws slightly -L at rear and H at front
  • Agree with Penguin, dont run it big/big and small/small, problem solved.

Cheers guys, I'll be dropping down the front rings before I go down too low on the rear from now on
