Hi All,
just a quick question but if you purchased a set of wheels 3 months ago, have lost 3 spokes (at random, not pot holes/impact) and now the LBS said as the rim (rear) has gone S shaped its not worth truing, would you query this with the shop or just accept it as these things happen?
I bought them as they were 32/32 spoked and listed as very strong. yes they were only £100 but I was on a budget. I do have the stock wheels on my bike. bladed 20/24 and have lost a spoke but only due to impact. I am 100kg and do a high mileage of approx. 150+ miles a week of mainly commuting.
I am looking at handbuilts and have been advised due to the mileage I might be best getting 36/36 spoked wheels.
just looking for opinions, not looking to whine and moan. cheers

Yes, but you have opened another thread asking for the same advice, which is against the rules...left the forum March 20230
