So it's been around nearly a year now... what do people who have one think?

I'm in the market for a new bike to complement my lovely super-light weight xc full sus (120mm travel).

This bike will be used for big days in the mountains, alps uplift trips and anything big and scary (but not full on down hill) it needs to be durable.

Thanks for your help!
Bikes:
Cannondale Killer V 1995 (Promo model) - My first Race bike now converted to a commuter
Lapierre X-Flow 712 - XC fs rocket
Pivot Mach 6 - Enduro Machine
Pinarello FP2 - Roadie

    What's your budget?

My Transition Covert is a solid 160mm bike
The Pivot Mach 6 is supposed to be good although I've never ridden one
Nukeproof Mega AM is another to look at

Covert or Mega AM would be my choice. Both are bomb proof and ride great.

The Pivot is not a common UK bike because they are pricey vs other competitors. I have always thought they look a mite fragile but have no experience of them - you don't see many in Canada.

Transition Bandit or Covert would be on my list, the Devinci Spartan is worth a look although my preference would be for the Troy. I followed a chick on one the other day, if you will excuse my referring to women as chicks, and chatted to her about it - she was loving it aside from some sh*t box avid brakes. Also worth looking at the Norco Range and Rocky Mountain Altitude.

The Bronson or Nomad also have to be on a 150/160mm travel list.

Thanks guys, some interesting options suggested.. most of which I've considered...

I looked at a bronson C the other day, and whilst its rather nice, it didn't instantly grab me, i think I'lll still try it, but it's going to have to be an amazing ride compared to the way it felt sitting on it in the shop.

Mondraker is already on the list, and the transition/covert are (but impossible to find a demo bike or even one in stock around here (south UK) I think the problem is that it's switch-over time for models before the 2015 stock comes in.

Reason I was asking about the pivot is i've nearly narrowed it down, and I've heard some very good things, but wanted to get hold of an owner to share their experiences
