Decided i want to get into biking as a way to stay fit i have a budget of around 300 .. read the article about the Rockrider for that price but its from 2012 and there might be alternatives now unless it gets updated im not sure? ill be looking to be biking around 50-80 miles a week & some off roading now and again and reading a few topic it seems a hard tail would be better than a full suspension but im all new to this so any advice on whats best to buy for what ill be using it for would be a massive help
had been looking at this: but probably been sucked in by the "save £200" when its probably not worth that anyways

It's not bad for the money - certainly was never £450, it started life at about £350.0

yeah thought that would have been the case.. its between that and the vulcan thats £319 is the 70 quid difference really worth paying ?

The fork and brakes are better on the Vulcan - even if the fork looks the same, they are crucially different in one area and that is the Vulcan fork is hydraulic and is far better controlled.0
