I'm looking at getting a long sleeve jersey that I'll use for local XC/trail and Enduro races/light DH

I want a jersey that I can wear all year round but probably more focused on warmer British weather (15-20 degrees ish)
Like the look of the Royal Stage jersey and the Mavic long sleeve jerseys

Any comments on these or recommendations? Budget about £40
Thanks

Having tried loads of different brands including Fox, Troy Lee, Royal Racing and a few others I now stick to Endura and IXS. Both are constantly good quality with nicely thought out, practical features and reasonable prices.
Troy Lee jerseys are also great if you get them discounted, very nice but not for the rrp.
Royal Racing jerseys never seem to last me very long.

you wouldn't want to wear the stage top in anything but warm weather, even with a base layer as it lets the air flow through. I've got a Royal turbulance jersy thats a better bet but could do with a short sleave version for hot weather.

    Have got a Stratos from a few years ago. http://www.mavic.co.uk/apparel-men-mtb- ... 8OMgnJ4KUk

It's quality and it has that athletic-but-not-XC Mavic fit but it's so light and fragile there aren't many times when it could be worn except perhaps for a really hot day on some easy moorland double track when you want to keep the sun off your arms. All other times you may as well not be wearing it. Think of it more as a styled-up base layer and you won't go far wrong. Wildly overpriced at the RRP but often to be found for £20-30 after Summer.

    Thanks for the replies

I like TLD products but agree that they are slightly overpriced
I'll check out some IXS jerseys as well

The fact the Stage is highly vented is a plus for me so I'm thinking I might just go for it, I wanted a LS jerseys mainly so I can give my arms a bit of protection as I have plenty SS jerseys

The Mavic one I was looking at was the Crossmax but it seems quite overpriced

I like the look of the One Industries Vapor Stratum long and short sleeve jerseys
If anyone has tried those feel free to comment

The Mavic is a no now after reading a review in WMB.. It was a fairly average review and it's an expensive jersey so I'll give it a miss even though it's probably my favourite design

I think I'm going to go for the Royal Stage jersey
