I’m looking for some more flexible tyres to replace my Conti 4000’s 25’s. The conti’s seem quite fast but don’t give me a lot of confidence descending as they seem a bit skittish to me.

Weight and good protection are my priorities, not that bothered about cost/wear rate as i don’t do massive miles (about 80 a week tops) but some of the roads i use are country lanes where gravel is plenty. The new s-works turbo looks good on paper but any reports on resistance to flats on regular rides compared to other such high end clinchers?

I don’t ride in the wet to be honest and more likely to be a summer tyre, switching over to something else in the winter. My rims are Gigantex 40mm carbon

I had them with no issues. Changed to comply with recommendations regarding new wide rimmed wheels but still have use the 24's in the winter.

OK cool, no excessive punctures compared to the usual high end rubber?
