I'm looking at buying my first set of bib shorts and after a read up I've decided to go for the Endura FS260 Pro Bib Shorts but I'm not sure what size to go for ?

I'm 6ft 38" waist and as of this morning I'm 15st10lb, the tricky bit is I'm losing apx 3lbs per week so I was thinking of going for XL which might be a bit tight for now but should losen up a bit as the weight comes off ?

The jersey I'm looking at is Funkier Short Sleeve Jersey SS14 in XL ? Going for black to help hide my belly a bit ! :)

So do you think XL in both bib and jersey would be best ?

BTW, how are you supposed to pee in bib shorts ?

I have just bought some FS260 Pro shorts. I bought L and took them back to get an XL, there was more room in the straps for me. I am 5'9" with a 36-38" waist. About 15st.
If you have an evans near you, order them all up for delivery and then take back what you don't want.
The Gatwick Warehouse shop has loads in stock.
I used the shorts for the first time this morning, only 25 miles but they seemed pretty good.

  • Cheers for the info, i'll have a look at Evans.

You're fairly close to me size wise and using XL, do you think they'll stretch ok ?

I'm loathed to get XXL only to lose some more weight and end up buying twice

I guess it depends on how long your body is. Long legs short body you will be fine.
There is stretch in then from my point of view. I could wear the L but they were just a little to tight on shoulder which would have become uncomfortable on a long ride.
