Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place. If I quit, however, it lasts forever.

No idea, but the guy talks the talk, has 100% feedback and lives in the Orkneys - not exactly known as a scammer's paradise. My vote would be legit.

Sadly, scammers often use Orkney and Shetland as locations to stop people
Asking to pick it up on person.

that doesn't mean he''s not a scammer or stupid enough to have bought a fake.

I know these have been superceaded but still look pretty cheap. Too good to be true?

 If you have any doubts don't buy it, then move on to the next bike you're interested in. (ffs)

I'd never buy a bike unseen. If its not available for inspection then I'd walk away.

If it looks remotely dodgy walk away, its the gullible newbies looking for a bargain that are fuelling the stolen bike market in my opinion.
