Wheel upgrade advice on Cannondale Synapse

I'm reasonably new to road cycling having only purchased my first bike in April this year. I'm riding a Cannondale Synapse Hi-Mod and have so far covered 2.5km (and 30k m elevation) training for this years l'Étape du Tour.

The Synapse came with Mavic Ksyrium Equipe S, which are 1690 grams without tyres and I'm considering my upgrade options.

I'm looking for an all-round wheel that will be good on the flats but also light weight for climbing. Most of my riding is in the UK and includes a reasonable amount of climbing and the overseas riding I have done has been some epic climbs in Mallorca as well as the Alps. I currently weigh 67kg.

My local shop recommended the Mavic R-SYS SLR Clincher which comes in at only 1295 grams and are within my price range (approx. £1,500)

Any recommendations for other brands/models I should look at that suit my style of riding and budget of approx. £1,500?

Thanks in advance
