Manchester to Blackpool

Doing my first organised ride tomorrow, the Manchester to Blackpool.
Any other beginners on here doing it?
It's only 60 miles but I'll be happy with that as a beginner. My longest ride so far is Altrincham to Cheshire Oaks and back which came to 58 miles so I reckon I'll be fine with the distance. Glorious weather all week, and rain is forecast all morning tomorrow, gutted! Still going to wait till the morning before deciding whether to put the mudguards back on.
Good luck to anyone else who may be doing it.
