Casual, skinny cycling shorts?

Hi guys,
I am searching for some new shorts for my commute into uni each day, and longer rides on the weekend. However, I am not up for wandering around campus in lycra yet!
At present I am using some Endura MTB baggy shorts that are a bit more substantial than ideal when on the road bike. I could do with something a bit lighter, more form fitting and stylish that still has a cycling cut (or whatever that means!) and has features like secure pockets.
Does anyone have some good ideas for under £60? So far I have spotted the Endura Zyme and Rohan Outrider.
Cheers!

These are a nice comfortable short (stretchy material) and not baggy at all:

They are a lot more fitted than my Endura Singletrack shorts.0 -
I was going to suggest you look at some of the Troy Lee Designs shorts as they are apparently superb and form fitting. They are probably more than £60 though.0

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I will look into them along with the Endura Urban Stretch Short I found along with the Swrve Durable Cotton.
Anyone have either of these?0 -
Just wear Lycra and then change.Red bikes are the fastest.0

Check out the TLD Skyline and Ace shorts. Chain Reaction (amongst others), stock them.
Some of their shorts come with, some without inserts, so check that.0 -
Don't need to go with cycling specific shorts either. If you've got a 'Mountain Life', or similar, shop near you some of the high wicking outdoor hiking shorts can be quite comfy without the width of some MTB shorts.0

Wear a padded liner with your choice of casual short.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0

Slightly over budget at £65, the Vulpine shorts are very good. More practical than Rapha touring shorts as they have zipped side pockets.0
