    Could have been the diff.
    Wide once rang to say the car wouldn't move and the diff had gone. I asked why she thought the diff had gone. She got a bit annoyed that I should doubt her and told me there were some bits of metal in a pool of oil under the big hole in the diff.
    I agreed with her, she is infinitely wiser than many of our customers.
