I stopped on a big ride to take a phonecall and Strava app crashed.
I had to re-start another and therefore now have 2 seperate activities for 1 ride.
Is there any way to link the two together ???

There must be a way to export two GPX files and then ad teh second one to the first. Then upload manually (ensuring you delete the existing rides first).
Have a google for Strava doping or Strava hacking as some people have been manually altering files to get KOMs - that should give you the info you need.0 -

cheers - I have managed to do it from a guide I eventually found on Strava forum. Its pretty easy actually. Just had to open the files in Notepad and copy a certain section into the first part of the ride and save. Imported to strava and its now one ride. !
I have often wondered about Strava doping. Theres a couple of sections near me that look way too dodgy. One of them the guy has gone down a hill at 61mph. The other is a short climb after a sharp right-hand bend- they have gone up the climb at over 30 mph. There is no fi-ng way either are achievable unless you are in a car or motorbike.
HOWEVER - For something like this where your phone crashes or battery goes its a needed feature imo. They could cross check it with date and time.0 -
To save on doing it yourself. You can just open a support ticket on Strava, with hyperlinks to each activity and ask them to put them together into a single ride. I've done this before when my garmin died mid-ride and recorded the rest on my phone app.0

It takes less time to do it yourself than it does to raise a support ticket!Faster than a tent.......0 -
Use Endomondo for this - import the GPX files, go to
Training > History
tick the two rides, hit the merge button
export GPX file again.
Takes seconds - best feature in Endomondo and much needed in Strava.0
