Hi guys
I am looking to replace my current wheelset, which is :-
Alexrims TD17 Disc
Shimano m475front and rear qr hubs
On my Gt idrive 5. I have little knowledge of suitable wheels but have noticed some mavic cross one and cross ride wheels on merlins site. Opinions and recommendations / links would be much appreciated.
Thanks guys

Those wheels are fine for the money but not that much better than what you have. Are the ones you have knackered?0

What is knackered about them? Repair is often a better option than replace.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

From pitted hubs to dings in the rims and slight buckles. Time for a change.GT I_DRIVE 5 XCR IN BLUE.

Don't know what these are like but they're cheap enough and have a steel freehub

Must be? Or just wildly guessing? They are good rims, albeit made for xc riding.0
