Childs handle bars

Hi,
daughters bike needs a facelift and a new set of handle bars as hers have rust patches.

can you recommend where i can pick up as online keep finding adult bikes stuff.

    Just look for short adults ones. I don't think there is such a thing as kids bars. Bars are bars. Just make sure you get the right clamp size. (Probably either 25.4 or 31.8 - likely the former if steel)
    And get aluminium - lighter and don't rust.

    Grown up ones and a hacksaw. Get your offspring to prop herself on the floor as if she's doing press-ups (or even get her to do press-ups) and move her hands until they're a comfortable distance apart. That's how wide the handlebars need to be, and you add a bit for growth.

    Depends how much you have to hack off. The grip end is narrower than the middle.

    how old are we talking here?

    my 9 year old gets on fine with a set of exotic scandium bars @ 620mm they do normal alu as well a lot cheaper.
