Hopwas Woods (Tamworth)

I'm still on the hunt for places to ride in and around Leicester, and have been told about Hopwas Woods just outside Tamworth. Has anyone ever ridden there/have any opinions on the riding available? I'm certainly not expecting any marked trails/trail centre but I've heard that there are some DH trails and techy single track. Looks to be the best thing I've found that is nearest to me so far.

Any info appreciated as always!

Hmm it's okay - need to be with someone who knows their way around to really enjoy it - be better off riding Cannock instead
