Indexing Ultegra Di2

Can someone please help with my question....when indexing an 11 speed Ultegra Di2 are the adjustments made specific to the cassette ring that you are in when making the adjustments or do they affect every ring, like they do when adjusting manual mechs.

Eg. My gear 6 is slightly 'ticking', if I make an adjustment when in this ring, will it only affect this ring, or will it affect all the others as well.

You index one gear and that calibrates them all.

To be honest, I find the best way is to index on the go - put it in a middle gear (like 6) and ride in index mode to tune out the noise.
