InsuranceBike Replacement Recommendation

My hybrid commuting bike was stolen Friday (Specialized Sirrus Comp 2012).
Insurance company has offered to replace it with a Kona Dr Dew 2013.
It seems like a good deal to me, anybody have any recommendations? They said that I could upgrade and pay the difference of a different bike if I preferred.
Use is for a 11 mile each way commute, prefer something light but also robust that can tackle the poor roads I travel on.
Thoughts?
