CAAD8 vs Gran Fondo

Anyone with experience of both?
I've already got a CAAD8 105 which I'm generally happy with. I seem to have acquired an immaculate Ribble Gran Fondo (2010) frameset which seemed like a good idea at the time but now I'm not so sure...
I tend to ride 60-80 miles on undulating roads and initially fancied a go on something more relaxed and in carbon but now I'm not so sure... Is it worth shelling out on a chainset and building the Ribble up or shall I move it on and cut my losses?
Only one can stay unfortunately. N=N these days

Stating the bleeding obvious but shift the bits over and go for a long ride. Then decide. I don't have any idea why you would expect anyone to know which one you would prefer, especially as you have both...0
