What size spacer?

Hi,
Just got a pair of fulcrums and after a few rides got some play in the cassette. Emailed wiggle and they said as I have a 10 speed cassette I need to fit a 1mm spacer as well as the 1.85mm that came with the wheels. Is this correct? If not why is my cassette moving on the freehub body?
Cheers
Tom

Wouldn't surprise me.
As per your post below asking the same question, give it a bash and see what happens. If it works then whizzy, lashings of ginger beer all around. If it doesn't then come back.Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am

You do need the extra spacer if you're running an 11 speed Shimano* freehub - it is the same spacer (that usually comes with a new 10 speed cassette) you would need to fit a 10 speed cassette on a 9/10 speed hub.
If you transferred the cassette from another set of wheels, it may be worth checking you didn't leave a spacer behind. Been there, done that
