Can I ride tomorrows stage 2 roads before the cyclists? I know roads are closed but does this apply to cyclists? I'm thinking of going up Holme Moss. The crowds up Buttertubs looked fantastic today.

TROs apply to all traffic - including cyclists. You will need to get up early to beat the closure..

"In some places, the best way to complete a journey to see the Tour will be by bike or on foot. Cyclists and pedestrians will be able to use the route up until 30 minutes before the caravan arrives."

Maybe it is just a Cambridge thing, but Cambridgeshire County Council says that the closed roads are closed for cyclists as well. Most road closures start at 4am around here, so my wife is rather miffed that we have an extra KM to ride to get where we want to go.
