Where to buy 44-622 tyres

Hi all

OK this isnt strictly an MTB thing but Ive got a Cube Nature Pro trekking bike. The stock tyres are Schwalbe Smart Sam 44-622s and I need to replace the rear.

Im not particularly wedded to the smart sam, but it would be nice to match the front.

Anyway, I cant find this tyre anywhere online, even Swalbe's website doesnt list this designation; http://www.schwalbe.co.uk/mtb/smart-sam/

I cant find any tyre of any brand this size!

Does anyone know where I can get a replacement tyre?

700X42 is the closest you'll get. 622 is the inner rim diameter for 28, 700c and 29

I just bought a Cube Nature Pro 2015 one week ago and in 3 rides I got 2 times a tire puncture. All at the rear tire.

In my opinion, Schwalbe Smart Sam is simply a flop and Cube is also not doing their job right, because Smart Sam reveals to be far from the appropriated for an hybrid specification bike such as Nature Pro (it seems Cube guys simply didn't tested the tires under the type of utilization they propose/market for the bike). Also 44 x 622 is a tire dimension difficult to find, meaning no alternatives.

What I think one has to do is to go for tires with 42x622 or 47 x 622 dimensions. However I have one doubt: Any one knows if CUBE SX Disc rims support 47 x 622 tires?

Smart Sam are a decent tyre, you ride in the wrong place you get punctures. But you sound like the type if poster who won't be back anyway.
