Le Tour 2013 was all about The Boar

Il Giro 2014 was 'Fox with pink scarf'

What will be the taxidermy of choice for Le Tour 2014 and what stage will it appear?

If we don't get something as good as this, I'll be disappointed

Next week's Animal Hospital where Rolf shows people how to handle a young beaver has apparently been cancelled.

Well Wiggo and Millar have already been stuffed....

Other than that: Badger. He looks stuffed.

If there is a beaver will it be called Justin?

Stages 1-3 the best you'll get is a stuffed crust pizza.
Life is unfair, kill yourself or get over it.

There must be someone in Yorkshire with a stuffed whippet or ferret?

Surely it should be one of those yorkshire yapper dogs? They are only tolerable, if at all, when in stuffed/plush form.

    Yorkshire Terrier no?

And stuffing a cricketer is maybe going too far, if you're going to do it better go for Geoffrey Boycott he's more recognisable.

Boycott you say. You might be on to something.

A punter dressed as Dikie Bird isn't asking much. At least two thick woollen jumpers must be tied around the waist.

    Thank you.

I want a stuffed ferret, please. Comfier than a loofah, but you can use the teeth if you have a particularly hard to reach itch in the bath.

If Northern Rail allow it, and the glue dries I will take a stuffed pike with me on the train to Sheffield on Sunday. Hope no one else is travelling on the service with stuffed fish, as there is a strict two pike per train policy being enforced this weekend.

Unlike other train companies, who merely insist on you reserving your plaice.

There was a stuffed bear on Stage 18.

Sadly nothing will beat the stuffed campervan toilet on Stage 14.

Not a patch on boar man.

Next year I am going to go to the Tour with a stuffed animal of some kind. I am. It's not far to Utrecht. The tradition of boar man needs to be upheld. So suggestions please for what I should take?

Surely there, it should be a Netherlandish lion?

A flamingo or a wombat. Personally, I'd favour the wombat.

I'm thinking a stuffed bunny...

I do have a wombat, not a real wombat, a wombat cuddly toy. But it isn't really large enough. Flamingo is also good.

But if you take it too near the Sky bus it will attract the attention of the snakes Froome keeps in the washing machines.

In all fairness, I thought the 'Pyrenean bear fan' was a success. Matched the taxidermy with the locality? Check. Respected the racers? Check. Achieved TV coverage? Check.

    Bravo 'Pyrenean bear fan'.
