Another one to add to the list http://www.nottinghampost.com/Cyclists- ... story.html

I've been saying for some time now that the incompetent drivers are coming out of the woodwork around here.

No further details have been released by the police so I have no idea which party is to blame.

    RIP

  • RIP. Can't imagine what the family are going through.

Not often you hear of this so close to home.

I've never cycled round there, it does seem like a junction that could be quite dangerous, multiple lanes going in multiple directions.

HGVs need collision mitigation and avoidance technology now.

Get any vehicle over 2T retrofitted or get it off the road by 2016.
I used to just ride my bike to work but now I find myself going out looking for bigger and bigger hills.

2T is hardly HGV! In fact my estate car can go over 2T.
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.
