Firstly, apologies if this is the wrong section (mods - feel free to move it as appropriate :) )

I have a nice shiny new Garmin Edge 800 which I find very useful! However, one niggle (so far) - as I'm tonking along on my way to/from work I get a very annoying beep/message about speed camera zones! I find this very distracting (I can't resist looking to see why it's beeping/what it's saying!) - does anyone know how to turn this feature off please?

Really? Are you sure it's not an alert for your speed or cadence zones or something?

There are speed zones set up on my 800 (menu-spanner icon-bike settings) but I don't think there is an alert for them. Perhaps it beeps if you have speed zone set up as one of the display screens, you could try removing that data field if you have it?

You're not going fast enough hence the warning
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

The Garmin 800 doesn't know about speed cameras, sounds to me like you have some alert turned on, either time or distance - see page 4 of the manual.

It's the pedal faster alert
