Ultegra Di2 Shifting Problems

I must confess from the outset that I am a novice when it comes bike maintenance and despite my best efforts to fix my gear probelm I'm having very little success at the minute. The problem is with my Ultegra Di2 front and rear mechs and before I take it to my LBS I was wondering if anyone more knowledgeable than me could shed any light on what the cause of my problems are.

It seem to have appeared out of the blue after I took the back wheel off to change a damaged tube. Before that the gears were working as normal when I rode it on Monday and the bike has not had any obvious knocks or falls, but after putting the wheel back on my gears on both the front and the rear are not working at all. (I have removed and refitted the wheel and it appears to be seated and locked into the frame exactly as it should be.)

The problems are:
When I shift up on the front ring from small to large, my front derailleur moves across but the chain does not come with it so it gets jammed between the derailleur and the ring mid change and I have to put it back into the small ring using the shifter to release it.

On the rear cassette I am stuck on the last four rings of the cassette (most difficult gearing) and when I try to shift up it stops and will not go any further, so there is no more movement towards the wheel from the rear derailleur.

I have watched numerous videos, had a look at the shimano manual but have had no success in solving the problems and after endless fidding around with indexing and limiters I fear I am just doing more harm than good.

Has anyone come across these problems before and have any advice on how to fix it?

Thanks, Chris

My first check would be to removed the cable to the rear mech and refit it, being certain that it was fully clicked home.

If it was disturbed by the skewer it may be only making a partial connection and stops being connected at gear 5.

No idea what's going on at the front.

Do you have a full battery charge?

Crash mode maybe? Activated by hitting it when changing the rear wheel?

Thanks for the replies, I have tried doing a reset on the front button in case it was in crash mode, the rear derailleur goes through a few of the cogs but only the ones it is already changing into but has no effect on the front derailleur problem. I have also removed the battery and recharged it but that has had no effect either. I had a check of the wiring last night and that looks to be in order so I think I'll drop it in to my lbs tonight and see if they can sort it for the weekend for me.

    Thanks

Just spoke to my LBS on the phone who are Di2 specialists, the guy said he has seen my problem before and he reckoned that it could be a software issue that needs updating.
