Rode part of the Sheffield stage of the TDF today from Langsett-Oughtibridge.Good day topped of by seeing Team Garmin-Sharpe outside The Pedelers Inn(Wagon and Horses) in Langsett when we went for a post ride pint 8)
Sat in the beer garden after they'd left and the landlady of the pub came over and asked us if we'd ordered food. When we told her no she told us that four of the blokes off the coach had ordered Pie and Chips but couldn't wait any longer so left them.Free food, cheers Team Garmin-Sharpe
Waiting to pull out of the car park and Team Katusha went flying by.It looks like they're all out doing a reccy of the stage 8)

He doesn't look sure either, probably realises he looks like a bit of a pillock"Arran, you are like the Tony Benn of smut. You have never diluted your depravity and always stand by your beliefs. You have my respect sir and your wife my pity"

I saw a Garmin Sharp vehicle the other day when I was out for a ride, but it wasn't the bus in the photos, this one had 4065GPS (not certain of the numerals, but the letters are right!) as the French* registration number.
I briefly managed to draft behind it for a hundred yards or so after it had pulled out of a side road in front of me. The only reason for it being where it was that I could think of was the chip shop. Perhaps there's a theme here? Garmin Sharp runs on pie and chips (when they are not eaten by others instead).
This was near to J25 of the M1 BTW, I've no idea what they were doing in my neck of the woods.
EDIT *possibly not a French plate though. I see that the ones in the photo have Spanish plates and French ones are not the same format.
The older I get, the better I was.0
