As monkey said. I think there's a difference between mtb Lycra and roadie Lycra.

Personally I'd wear neither, but horses for courses

If you have a finely honed ripped Adonis of a body like me Lycra is not a problem. If you are a large, Hairy mountain biker then I wouldn't bother ;)

No different to fat cunts on orange fives head to toe in body armour going at 5 mph I suppose both equally gay and should be avoided at all cost lol

No no no, Lycra is like those stomach reducing pants chicks wear - keeps the fat tucked in

I always wear roadie lycra on the MTB.

    Under my baggies.

I wear long padded tights under my baggies mainly because where I ride there is loads of nettles, brambles and millions of gnats so I just try to keep skin covered up, still amazes me how you get stung and cut through clothes and the other day I had a gap of around 1-2" around my ankles and I got 15 bites on one ankle and 5 on the other, how can something so small cause so much discomfort / itching

Hmmm have also noticed this the last few months. First time I put it down to a race in the area but it's definitely becoming more widespread. Last night there was a group of five or six well-fed individuals in Hope & Orange lycra. Something is going on :?

Going back to the very early 1990's with bright tight Lycra for MTBing. Next we will have very light steel framed rigid bikes and narrow handle bars with bar ends :)

Nothing wrong with a bit of internet fame.

But no matter how nice you are to me, you're still a knob.
