Given that the only reason pros (and most other celebs) 'share' on Twitter is to monetize their fan-base, those Trek tweets are amateurish. There's no way the returns on this kind of guff adequately reward the reputation risks to the emotionally incontinent like Millar.

Again I 'm going to have to really really disagree with you here. What you are suggesting is that someone will NOT go and buy a Garmin or a Cervelo becasue of something that David Millar Tweeted (or not by a Jaguar, a Rapha Jersey or a Satellite Dish becasue of Michelle Cound)

The entire point of the Emonda model is that it's like 4.65kg, and thus illegal for UCI competition unless you put 2.15kg of ballast on it.
