Where's that Naked Italian and his SIDIs...?

Bless Gerraint but you do get the impression he doesnt have the pick of the endorsement market. He's no Jess Ennis or Jenson Button eh?

Geraint Thomas was always dropping Celtic Manor into tweets, long before the nationals went through their grounds.

It's shocking reading tweets after races. "Tough race, but already starting to feel better thanks to eating a delicious XYZ energy products recovery bar mmmmm #xyzenergy"

You could have a competition between Geraint Thomas and Tom Boonen to see if there's anything they won't endorse.

Jeez, the last thing I'd want having launched my new bike range's 'climber modell' would be to see Frank and Andy going backwards at the first sign of an incline!

Nah just needs marketed the right way... something like:
Tested and proven by professionals! 'I can stay in the bunch for an extra 30 seconds on this bike' - Andy Schleck

    (I feel bad now)

Given that the only reason pros (and most other celebs) 'share' on Twitter is to monetize their fan-base, those Trek tweets are amateurish. There's no way the returns on this kind of guff adequately reward the reputation risks to the emotionally incontinent like Millar.

Again I 'm going to have to really really disagree with you here. What you are suggesting is that someone will NOT go and buy a Garmin or a Cervelo becasue of something that David Millar Tweeted (or not by a Jaguar, a Rapha Jersey or a Satellite Dish becasue of Michelle Cound)

I just simply do not believe you (or the Velocast)

The entire point of the Emonda model is that it's like 4.65kg, and thus illegal for UCI competition unless you put 2.15kg of ballast on it.

Andy Schleck puts about 65kg of ballast on it.

Just realised I had absolutely no idea what Cunego looked like before seeing that. I've never seen him without a cycling helmet and now I see him without anything and wish I hadn't!

So after perusing that link I think it's a yoghurt of some description. Not available in Albert Heijn sadly.

Anyway G Thomas is gaining form for advertising bovine related products.
