Just selling my Stumpjumper HT with 2011 (red spoke/hub, black rim with silver milling) Crossmax SLR's. The bike and wheels have been spot on, so I'm having the same again.
29er this time as I need to justify the change and I've got a bike and deal that I'm happy with.
Just need to complete with some Crossmax's, but looking at current specs and weights, it looks like the new ST is a match for my old SLR's. Same materials (maxtal, zircal) same tech and very similar weight. Should I bother spend the extra £250 odd to get SLR again?
Thanks in advance..

I'd not have either. You could build a really nice set of handbuilt wheels on some carbon rims that will weigh less, be stiffer, more reliable and not leave you waiting 6 months for spokes when you break one.
