The shimano 105 5700 10 sp front derailleur on my cannondale bike is faulty and I need a new braze on type front mech. Im looking at the ultegra 6700 10 sp braze on front mech which doesn't come with a clamp and is just the derailleur. My bike already has the 31.8mm clamp on the seat tube to which the now faulty derailleur is bolted too, if I buy the ultegra front mech can I simply use the 31.8mm clamp on the bike and bolt the new mech to it ?
Sorry for the noob question but ive never carried out this job before

]Slightly confused by your descriptions... but perhaps this what you require if you wanting to go to 6700?
