    Ah! Got it! Stage 2 for me now has a fixed point in space but exists across time.

    Just sat in the office and rushed out, every time a new set of cyclists appeared. I told Simon Gerrans I was picking him for my PTP and he just grinned at me.

    Hoping that we see some more today. Not sure though.

    Got to Thorpe Park and has luck would have it Astana arrived back- not may people about at Thorpe Park hotel. Great to see the bikes close up, nearly all on mechanical gears and most had 27-29 max gears on the rear, so not just me.

    All a bit surreal!
