Giant Mech Hanger

Hi All.
Just put a new Mech on my sons Giant XTC Jr 24" wheeled bike but looking at the Mech hanger it's bent when I went to straighten it, it feels on the soft side and is going to break, so how do I work out which on I need as there seem to be quite a few different ones, it's a 2 hole and made out of aluminium.no good lbs around me either so it would need to be ordered on the net.

I just Googled "Giant XTC" mech hanger and loads came up... so just pick the one that looks the same. Should be easy enough to identify... or post a photo of yours and I'll have a look.Current:

Yes I googled it as well, wondering as it's a kids bike 24" wheels/ really small frame etc, would there be any difference between that and 26" wheel adults bike?

Yes there could be. Hangers are brand,model and year specific.

Quick up date new hanger came today put it on and everything is now soooo smoooooth, I hope the little bugger is happy and grateful

Usually when we go out as a family there's either 3 or 4 of us, guess who has to check all the tyre pressures, lube the chains etc and they wonder why I'm always a bit stressed :shock:0
