FSA Mega Exo Crank Bolt Lockring

I have posted in the 'Wanted' section a request for the FSA specialist tool to remove the crank bolt lockring, as I have inadvertently applied too much Loctite to mine and now cannot get it undone with the Park Tools pin spanner.
Can someone tell me how this lockring comes apart, to undo is it clockwise or anticlockwise ?
Also as the Park Tools pin spanner keeps slipping due to excess Loctite ! is there any other way of removing other than the special FSA socket.
Any help or advice would be most welcome.
