Tubeless setup

I just had new Hope hubs laced to my Dt Swiss 465D rims but after doing Ben lomond at the weekend and suffering 2 pinch flats and nearly having to walk back down from the top,i want to go tubeless but unsure if my rims would be ok for this??

they are not designed to be tubeless but get 1 inch gorilla tape from homebase and DT swiss valves & stans sealant from CRC.
