Hi I've been offered both of these recently and can't make my mind up.
The Sony I've been offered is £120ish brand new which means comes with waterproof housing and a few mounting options or the older contour model for 100 quid with various accessories
Both seem to have plus and minus. So which you u choose?

I got the Contour HD 2 years ago for £118 off Amazon, I wouldn't pay £100 for a second hand one.

It's very good for what it is, I like mine but don't use it often.

The footage from Sony is better from what I've seen on YT/Vimeo etc but the Contour has the rotating lens so can be mounted on the top of your helmet on it's side and the image will still be the right way up.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

argos have the AS15 for £129 but apparently it is actually an AS30. if you go in an ask to view it first then you'll be able to see if its a 15 or a 30
  • As above, I have just bought the av15 from argos and it turned out to be the av30.
