Hi all

I have a 9 speed rear wheel hub but I want to change it to a single speed hub. Do I just use spacers then attach the right sprocket? Or is it worth just buying a flip flop hub and then I have the option of a fixie as well.

Any other solutions most welcome!

Cheers

Your choice, if you think Fixie is your thing, get a new wheel, otherwise just get a conversion kit, Fixie doesn't really work with converted gears as you need to get the chain tension right on both sides of the chain, not just one.
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.
