Hi guys
I bought a set of Cobalt 3s for my 29er on eBay and should receive them soon.
I have a doubt regarding the rear wheel hub.
The one I am receiving is a 10X135 QR but I need a 12X142 thru axle...
Can it be converted with an adaptor or did I buy the wrong rear wheel?

I could not find anything.. :roll:0 -
if they are new then they should come with the different end caps according to crank bros site
older wheels can't be converted
all this information was on the crank bros site which I found using google. Maybe time to switch your search engine0 -
Thanks guys but I searched using Google a few times and all I found on the CB website are the conversion kits for 12X142 to qr...it also did not explain which are the older generation wheelsets etc...perhaps I missed something..0

That's the info you should have provided first up.
You need to ID yours so you can check what's possible. There must be a code somewhere on them or check with the seller.0 -

I think its the pre 2012 ones that can't be converted - if these are bought from a shop brand new then you'll soon find out0
