2013 Rockhopper 29 value

Hello,
I am currently looking at getting my first mountain bike.
I currently have a Rockhopper 29 that is red from 2013 on craigslist lined up for $450.

Is this a good deal?

    Is that Zimbabwe dollars? I so then it's a good deal.

    Yes, obviously its used but what currency?

    It was in USD united states dollars. I ended up getting it for $350. Needs a front derailluer and bled brakes. Should I just upgrade right away?

    Impossible to say. Upgrade what to what? Ride it and see what it doesn't do that you want it to do.

    The derailleur that needs to be replaced if it can't be bent back. I'm wondering what would be a good value upgrade. I left it at my local bike shop to re cable the derailleur and they said they will call if it needs to replaced.

    Whatever they have that's cheap, Deore or similar. Least important part of the bike.
