Exactly the same place as 2 years ago (I think it was). Buzzard attacks...
This time I heard the swoosh and I think instinctively put my arm up which may be why it aborted.

I still have the talon marks in the helmet :(:( from last time. :(:(

Anyway obviously these are commonplace;

    ... round here, buzzards are fairly benign... unless buzzard means something else in Engrish!

    ... the real airborne hazard round here are nesting Canadian geese (they'll attack if you get to close to the gosslings)...

    Red Kites are awesome,get a lot here,trouble is when they're circling over the back garden I need to get the JRT's in fast!! I know they're carrion eaters, (both red kites and JRT's), but there's something about the way the pin point the little buggers!!

    ^That is fantastic. We used to watch the Fish eagles in Kenya - some bird and some size of fish they caught.

    Someone told me recently that a European Eagle owl was spotted in the South of England. Now there's a big feathered f*cker if ever there was one.

    Maybe you smell a bit ropey ROT?!

    Were they an African rock group?
