Red letter day!
My wedding anniversary (congrats to me, commiserations to the wife I guess!)

And I fly home tonight (flight leaves 9:50 UK time, so close enough even if it will be 2:20am Saturday local)...home tomorrow, aiming to get out on the bike even if it's only on the town hack, maybe even have a family ride on Sunday.

Hope to get back out on the MTB middle of next week for the first time since I was ill, just a gentle spin with the son on the local woodland trails.
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

    TFI Friday indeed!

    Morning Losers!

Well, today I need to have my office ready for the final move on Monday morning. Stupid idea, I'm not happy about it.

Last night was a stupid game. Wish I hadn't recorded it as it meant I got to bed late, now I'm knackered. Grrr

Last day at current job, so plenty of sitting around annoying people reminding them of how doom and gloom it is.

Friday - been a long week

Parked on the other side of town and cycled across - this will minimise the work to pub time later as getting out of Chester is a pain in the ar5e.

right onwards to a 2nd cup of tea

    Morning,
Happy anniversary Rookie, and indeed commiserations to the Mrs.
hope Stevo enjoys falling down hillsides and doesn't need to test his new pads.
Probably be quite busy at work today as a couple of the guys are off working a show this weekend at Silverstone, bloody glad I'm not. Although this weekend will consist of much DIY interspersed with Mini repairs. More importantly Fryday so cafe lunch is calling.
    Until then; tea.

    A'rtnoon, snowballers

Damned busy this morning in work finishing (hopefully) the mother of all reports (and to think they said I couldn't polish it) and doing some interesting work with tittyanium. There was no bacons this morning, which would typically make me a grumpy b*****d, but they're making up for it with a free lunch. Cycling home on a full stomach, FTW!

    Onwards!

Amen, this week has been pure pash!

Out of the office one day and the sh*t got real.

Out on the road bike last few nights and not shifting any weight.

F*ck it! I'm away out on the hard tail tonight and properly stack it. Would probably cap a truly tremendous week (note sarcasm)

New padded pants were on the mat when I got back this evening could have done with them as it was a bit sketchy at Cwmcarn as it was baking hot and bone dry - couple of decent wash outs but nothing too serious. The maiden flight of the Panzer went well, I'm definitely faster now and it's an easy bike to jump on so rock on 8)

Biggest dangers were dehydration and sunburn!
